Follow along on as we hike the Woody Trail in Wallace Falls State Park, one of Washington State's most popular waterfall destinations. Often considered the most haunted hike in the Pacific Northwest due to the tragic Wellington Avalanche of 1910, which resulted in the deaths of 96 people when two trains were swept off the tracks, burying them under 40 feet of snow. Follow us this week on hike to Oyster Dome, one of Washington State’s most scenic trails! 🌲🏞️ Located in the Chuckanut Mountains, this adventure offers breathtaking views of Samish Bay and the San Juan Islands. We navigate through lush forests, tackle challenging switchbacks, and explore the rich history of the area, including remnants of old logging operations. The trail is a 5-mile roundtrip hike from Samish Overlook Trailhead with an elevation gain of 1,050 ft.
